Played twice on the new blades it took a bit to trust the turns but last game I felt more agile and evasive in my skating

The blades are fantastic. I had Step Steel Black that I have been skating on for the last 4 years and these hold an edge much longer. I have had no trouble sharpening them on my Sparks. I went from a 1/2 inch grind to a 5/8 and am considering going even flatter. The steel is of great quality although not light. I will take the tradeoff. XCBlade was great in handling the order. They shipped quickly, the only problem was FedEx who lost the order. I contacted XCBlade and they immediately shipped out a new pair. I had originally ordered a different blade, but they were out of those and refunded me the difference. Time will tell how the parabolic shape affects my skating. I was confident enough after on practice to skate in my men's league game the following Sunday.

I never leave reviews but these were excellent and I think they should be more widely adopted. Fast shipping and good customer service as well. Had no issues with sharpening.

These are easily my favorite blades!!! I’ve tried multiple different types and brands, but none compares to the performance of XC. I’m a novice skater, middle aged beer league player. I felt the immediate improvement in my stability on turns and edges as soon as I stepped on the ice!

The blades really grip the ice for hard turns and hard crossovers. They have increased my speed and agility by making rapid and hard direction changes easier to perform.
