I never leave reviews but these were excellent and I think they should be more widely adopted. Fast shipping and good customer service as well. Had no issues with sharpening.
Benefits: Immediately noticed an improvement in tight turns, crossovers, and acceleration out of turns. The biggest surprise to me was crossovers; you really feel like you have more blade on the ice when pushing under on your outside edge.
Disadvantages: None really. I guess they're slightly heavier than a traditional blade, but the cut outs in the design help mitigate that

These are easily my favorite blades!!! I’ve tried multiple different types and brands, but none compares to the performance of XC. I’m a novice skater, middle aged beer league player. I felt the immediate improvement in my stability on turns and edges as soon as I stepped on the ice!
Benefits: Improved stability with turning. Better glide speed because it allows for shallower hollow. I use a 3/4” FBV instead of the traditional 1/2”
Disadvantages: None as of yet.

The blades really grip the ice for hard turns and hard crossovers. They have increased my speed and agility by making rapid and hard direction changes easier to perform.
Benefits: Turning, stopping, and starting are precise, powerful, and easy to control. The blades are light and hold their sharpening for a long time.
Disadvantages: Sharpening requires careful attention to ensure edges are level.
