Absolutely love my new blades — I can’t recommend them enough!

I was initially a bit worried I wouldn’t be able to continue using my “flat bottom” sharpen, but it worked perfectly, and the transition to the new blades was completely seamless. I noticed an immediate improvement in my stride length, the sharpness of my turns, and the overall edge hold — especially when doing mohawks on my "weaker side." Everything just felt more balanced and consistent across the blade.

It was a noticeable difference, but not to the point where I was catching edges — which had definitely been a concern before they arrived. I was also a little unsure about adjusting to the larger curve, but the transition was incredibly smooth. The adjustment period was minimal, and the performance gains were instant.

I honestly can’t recommend these blades enough! I’ll definitely be grabbing another set soon — I know I won’t be going back to conventional blades, that’s for sure.

Profiling

Every XCBlade skate blade is factory-profiled with our developed Synthesized Penta Radius Profile Spline (SPRPS). This universal SPRPS profile, created based on player feedback, is formed from five different radii, offering the best combination of turning and gliding compared to other traditional profiles.

We apply this profile to all our blades during production, so you only need to sharpen them (ROH - Radius of Hollow), whereas our competitors sell their blades without profiling. But if you purchase the sharpening service, you will receive a pair of race-ready (RTR - Ready To Race) blades.

How XCBlade works?

CBlade is, therefore, not a permanent but a variable-width skating blade that forms a well-defined 3D geometric shape. Thus, unlike all currently available blades, XCBlade is NOT a parallel-edge skating blade. Still, the blade's left and right edges gradually extend from the center, parallel sections moving away from each other into the direction front and rear of the blade.
